I am Abdo. I have spent more than 8 years surfing and skating in Imsouane — learning the tides, the sandbanks, the Cathedral wave, and the village skate spots.
This school is built on local knowledge, steady progression, and the joy of carving the coast — whether you are standing on a surfboard for the first time, working on your turns on a green wave, or rolling your first surf-skate pumps on the rooftop.
Small group sizes, honest feedback, and the kind of attention you only get from a local who lives here — that is the whole idea.

Every decision starts with respect for the sea. We practice and teach responsible surfing, minimal-impact beach visits, and ocean conservation as part of every programme. The ocean is not a backdrop — it's everything.

Imsouane Surf Skate is more than a place to sleep. It's a living surf camp community of surfers, travellers, and locals who eat together, surf together, and look out for each other. We've seen strangers arrive on Sunday and leave as lifelong friends on Saturday.
Progress
We measure success by student improvement — not bookings. Small groups, personalised attention, and evidence-based coaching mean every surfer who passes through our doors gets better. That is the only metric we care about.

Tucked into a protected Atlantic bay, Imsouane is one of Morocco's most loved surf villages. Cathedral Bay and the long right-hand point offer forgiving, consistent waves that work for every level from complete beginners to experienced surfers looking for smooth, playful rides.
The village itself is still genuinely Moroccan — fishing boats on the beach at dawn, fresh argan oil from the cooperative down the road, and the call to prayer echoing over rooftops every evening. This is not a surf resort. It is a living place, and you are welcome in it.
